Zero gravity and epic views of the cosmos are just a few of the highlights
If you feel like you've already visited every destination on Earth, your next bucket list item has just arrived. In 2022, space travel company Orion Span will start accepting its first guests to Aurora Station, dubbed "the world's first luxury space hotel".
The itinerary
When Aurora Station launches, four guests at a time—accompanied by two crew members—will embark on 12-day long trips orbiting the Earth from 200 miles away.
During your stay in the private suites aboard the 43 by 14ft, pill-shaped modular space station, you'll be able to experience the joys of zero gravity and witness stunning views of our home planet, the aurora borealis, as well as 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours (the space station will orbit the Earth once every 90 minutes).
Once you tire of the view, you can participate in research experiments by growing food on the station, which can be taken home as an irreplaceable souvenir. The station even provides high-speed Wi-Fi so you can keep in touch with family and friends back home (and more importantly, brag about your intergalactic adventures on social media in real time).
