The 138-day cruise will have guests embarking on the luxurious new Viking Neptune—the cruise line’s newest vessel

Viking Cruises has officially announced its new 2022-2023 Viking World Cruise in response to a strong demand to resume its World Cruise itineraries. The epic around-the-world adventure will span 138 days and include 58 port stops––including overnight stays in 11 cities––in over 28 countries across the globe.

The trip will depart on December 22, 2022 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with guests sailing on the cruise line’s newest vessel––the Viking Neptune––which will be joining the company’s 930-guest ocean ships as of late 2022.

“We are pleased to offer this new opportunity for explorers to circumnavigate the world in comfort,” Torstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking Cruises said in a press release. “World Cruises are truly special voyages, and they continue to be one of our most sought-after offerings. Our 2021-2022 World Cruise has already sold out more than a year in advance, which speaks to the enthusiasm of our guests as they look forward to the return of international travel.”

The cruise is set to start off in Florida before traveling to Central America—including the Panama Canal. From there, it will sail up the West Coast of North America. Guests will also be able to join for a shorter 121-day itinerary, boarding in Los Angeles, before the cruise heads to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, across Asia and the Middle East, and into the Mediterranean before concluding in London.

Prices for the 2022-2023 Viking World Cruise are set to begin at US$49,995 per person, based on double occupancy. The price will also include Business Class international airfare, transfers to and from the ship, all shipboard gratuities and services fees, and more.
