Travellers looking to escape the bustle of the city can now take that remote retreat one step further. The St. Regis Maldives has just introduced a premium experience that allows guests to book the entire Vommuli Island for US$250 million per night.

Nestled between verdant rainforest and white-sand beaches, the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is the pinnacle of luxury living. Guests will be able to choose between the resort’s 77 villas, including the John Jacob Astor Estate, the largest overwater villa in the Maldives, each resort includes bespoke butler service day or night.

The resort overlooks the Indian Ocean and includes a total of six exquisite restaurants and bars to choose from, including a wine selection from the award-winning Decanter wine cellar.

Aside from the wide array of dining options, amenities include Vommuli House, the largest fitness centre in the Maldives, an outdoor infinity pool, and the Iridium Spa, where guests can indulge in the likes of ayurvedic healing treatments and anti-gravity yoga. Those looking for a little more stimulation will have unlimited access to a cinema room, watersports, a dive centre, and optional excursions. Guests will also be able to charter day trips with the resort’s custom Azimut Flybridge 66 Yacht, Norma.
