This new urban wellness resort features two championship golf courses on-site, so it's ideal for a spa getaway or to take some time to tee off with friends

Singaporeans who want a different staycation experience away from the city or Sentosa Island can now head east to the new Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, a luxury resort which offers warm Thai hospitality along with a suite of technological, wellness, entertainment, and dining facilities. Having just opened its doors on December 4, the resort is most notable for its location on the grounds of the Laguna National Golf & Resort Club, providing guests with direct access to two championship golf courses.

That also puts it in close proximity to the iconic Jewel Changi Airport, as well as heritage and dining gems in the Katong, Joo Chiat, and East Coast neighbourhoods, where guests can explore a different side to Singapore.

If you choose to stay in, the resort has a slew of dining and leisure options to keep you occupied.

With wellness at the core of the resort’s offerings, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore adopts a holistic approach that encompasses the mind, body and environment.

The resort’s Devarana Wellness offers a variety of wellness therapies that include the Deverana Signature Massage, which combines Thai, Ayurveda and Shiatsu techniques with aromatherapy, and the Singaporean Delightful Journey, a spa treatment inspired by local iced dessert “cendol”.

Beyond these spa and massage treatments, the resort will also conduct classes and workshops in stress management, nutrition, empowerment and more, as well as mindful activities such as meditation, yoga, and breathwork exercises.

Those with a more active lifestyle can expend their energy at DFiT, the hotel's 24-hour fitness centre boasting a wide range of cardio and weight resistance equipment; three swimming pools; and three outdoor tennis courts (estimated to be completed in early 2021) over a sprawling 369 square-metre of space.
