From luxurious first-class tableware to trolleys, oven racks, and more in-flight memorabilia, you can now buy items from British Airways planes

Whether you’ve had to cut back on recreational travel or you’ve spent most of your would-be business trips telecommuting on Zoom, it’s safe to say that most of us have significantly cut back on our air miles this year.

While we all may have less air miles than we would have within a normal calendar year, it doesn’t mean we have to cut out what we love about flying. In fact, this week, British Airways has this week announced that it will be unlocking the doors to its in-flight inventory to give aviation fans a chance to score unique hospitality items that have actually been used on flights around the globe.

From William Edwards plates and soup bowls to cups, saucers and even a butter dish, this sale marks the first time in history that consumers will be able to pick up authentic British Airways memorabilia on the market.

“This is an incredible one-off opportunity for people to bring the magic of flying with British Airways into their own homes,” Carolina Martinoli, British Airways’ Director of Brand and Customer Experience said in a press release. “We know that these special items will fly and we are delighted to be able to offer them in time for Christmas to give people the opportunity to make it memorable during a difficult year.”

Unlike a first class flight, all products will be pretty affordable—starting from as low as GBP5 for a pair of official British Airways slippers to GBP75 for an equipment canister used onboard the British Airways Boeing 747-400.

Interested in picking up your own piece of airline history? All items will be available to purchase starting this week. For more information or to purchase your own piece of high flying memorabilia, be sure to visit the What A Buy website.
