Although relatively new in the hospitality industry, Okada Manila receives the highest accolade to be given in a hotel/resort property and thus joining the ranks of the finest the world.

"We are delighted and extremely honoured to receive the highest accolade in the hospitality industry and join the league of the finest hotels in the world," shares Okada Manila president and co-vice chairman Takashi Oya during the exclusive press conference and appreciation party of the property held in its El Nido Villa.

Just recently, Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) released its 2020 Star Awards, recognising hundreds of the finest hotels and properties in the world, fifteen of which are in the Philippines. Okada Manila received its inaugural five-star rating, together with five other properties around Metro Manila. The 44-hectare wide integrated resort opened its doors in 2016 and has gained widespread popularity as a prime entertainment and hospitality destination in the region.

The integrated resort is home to an indoor beach club, exceptional accommodations, 13 fine dining restaurants, a diverse selection of retail stores, world-class spas, and ultra-luxury multi bedroom villas. With all of these, guests can experience one of the largest Forbes five-star integrated resorts in the world. In comparison to the other five properties that received the same rating, Okada Manila is the largest among them and received the rating for the entirety of the property, together with Marco Polo Ortigas Manila.

"This award is a reflection of the amazing passion and dedication of all our team members who provide exceptional guest experiences to everyone who walks into our doors day in and day out," senior vice president of hotel operations Ivaylo Ivanov proudly said.

"We have been committed to championing genuine five-star service for more than 60 years, and this year's winners, as always, exemplify the very highest standards in hospitality," said Filip Boyen, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide.

"It is difficult to earn a Forbes Travel Guide rating, and all our star-related winners have shown how incredibly deserving they are of their accolades by demonstrating sheer dedication in their passion for service. We congratulate them all."
