The Berkeley hotel in London unveils its luxurious new Pavilion Suites designed by renowned interior designer and architect, André Fu

The Berkeley in London recently underwent a major makeover, including the introduction of two posh new suites—named the Pavilion Suites—designed by André Fu. The Crescent Pavilion and Grand Pavilion are the latest additions to The Berkeley's collection of signature suites.

The beautifully designed rooms are now two of the largest suites in London and showcase Fu's aesthetic of understated luxury, with large glass windows that flood the suites with natural light and sweeping terraces that offer guests a serene urban escape.

Guests can enjoy a slew of high-end amenities, including a Burberry trenchcoat and luxurious robes to use during your stay, as well as experiences like a bespoke in-suite culinary experience by legendary two Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing, or an in-suite cocktail creation by a Blue Bar mixologist on request.

THE CRESCENT PAVILION

The 2,300 sq ft two-bedroom Crescent Pavilion offers the experience of a private residence surrounded by lush English greenery, and features restful earthy tones of sage and stone, with tactile fabrics, carved woods and accents of bronze, silver and gold.

The living room is designed for intimate gatherings with views of St Paul’s Church and the stunning glass pavilion has doors that slide back completely to reveal a wrap-around terrace, creating an immersive indoor-outdoor experience with 270-degree views of London.

With two furnished terrace areas, you can have breakfast with one view and evening cocktails with another, choosing between the rooftops of Belgravia or picturesque vistas of Hyde Park and Knightsbridge.

THE GRAND PAVILION

The two-bedroom Grand Pavilion combines space with a calm and contemporary design. Enveloped in glass on three sides, the bright and airy suite allows guests to wake up to expansive views of London and Belgravia. On the terrace, you'll find a chic open fire pit, designed to be the focal point for relaxing and socialising.

The main living room plays with Fu’s palette of dusty burgundy, pale emerald and mineral grey while a small collection of brass lighting pendants, reminiscent of London’s iconic streetlamps, were created especially for the room. At the opposite end of the entrance corridor is the ensuite guest bedroom, making this an ideal setting for multigenerational travel.
