1. Favourite place in Hong Kong?

I love Hong Kong’s harbour view, so my favourite place has to include the harbour. I love going to the West Kowloon Cultural District to have a picnic while watching the sunset, and also enjoying the spectacular night skyline.

2. Where is your favourite place to train in Hong Kong?

My favourite pool in Hong Kong is the one at the Hong Kong Sports Institute. It’s where the national team trains and it’s where I train when I’m in Hong Kong!

3. Favourite way to get closer to nature in Hong Kong?

Hiking—I never really liked it when I was younger but as I’ve got older I’ve started enjoying it more. There are so many amazing trails with varying levels of difficulty. To me, hikes are about the destination, not the journey. I love getting to the top of the mountain (like the suicide cliff, or Tai Long Wan) and admiring how beautiful nature is.

4. Favourite swimming pool you’ve ever swum in?

It has to be the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai. I went there in 2013 and it was the most beautiful pool I’ve been to – bright lights, high ceilings ... It's just a fast pool in general. I also won the 100m Freestyle at the Junior World Championships in that pool so it is extra special to me.

I like Supabowl in Wan Chai! My go-to is the Powerbowl topped with honey.

8. What’s your one skincare essential?

I love Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir. It makes my skin feel refreshed, perfect for those hot summer days in Hong Kong.

If I can only use one makeup product it would 100 per cent be Maybelline’s Volum’ Express The Rocket Waterproof mascara. I’ve been using this mascara for as long as I remember. It makes my lashes look full but also natural. It’s not clumpy and doesn’t leave dark marks under my lower lashes after a few hours.

10. Favourite muscle recovery methods?

I get a massage at least once a week because I work out so much! I also love ice baths and cryotherapy. Most people can’t handle the cold but I love it.

11. Favourite way to relax?

I love baking. I find it very therapeutic. I get to enjoy my baked goods but I also get to share them with my family and friends.

12. Favourite place to go shopping?

Since Covid-19, I started shopping more online. I like going to lulus.com for some cute clothes!

13. Favourite place to travel to? What’s next on your travel bucket list?

I went to Paris when I was younger and I loved every moment I was there. I want to go to Greece next because it’s beautiful and it’s culturally rich.

14. Favourite person to hang out with?

My sister because we both love eating. We live in different countries now but every time we hang out we go on food adventures to find the best street food.

15. Favourite self-care routine?

I like to take a hot shower, put on a face mask, and watch a good rom-com. Then I like to sleep early. I love sleeping and it’s also a great way to recover.
