2022年的F1賽事，你很難忽視紅牛的最強二將、32歲墨西哥車手塞爾希奧·培瑞茲 (Sergio Pérez)，暱稱為「Checo」。他有張巧妙撞臉巨星湯姆克魯斯的笑容，有車迷更稱他為「F1界阿湯哥」，在紅牛頭號當家最強車手Max Verstappen、紅軍再起的「法拉利」包辦的大獎賽冠軍陣容中，「Checo」竟搶下了摩納哥GP的2022首勝！不過，這位在墨西哥恐怕快比阿湯哥還紅的車手，卻曾經差點失去了F1車手門票？究竟Sergio Pérez是誰？帶你認識！

回顧昨夜的2022年英國（Sliverstone）大獎賽，場邊迎來的慶祝60歲生日的湯姆克魯斯；另一邊，和阿湯哥撞臉的Sergio Pérez竟從第17名反敗為勝衝到第二名佳績，更是他在本賽季 10 場比賽中第6次登上頒獎台。截至目前為止，Pérez本賽季個人積分達147分，不僅狠甩賓士車手、險勝法拉利紅軍Leclerc、Sainz，更僅次於Verstappen的181分，成為積分榜上第二名！不過你知道Sergio Pérez已經進入F1長達11年的時間？

1. Pérez是墨西哥最紅的體育明星之一！

Sergio Pérez 出生於墨西哥第二大城市 Guadalajara，和許多車手的發跡一樣，他從6歲開始參加卡丁車比賽，2004年得到墨西哥電信（Telmex）的贊助，前往美國參加 Skip Barber 系列比賽。2007年他轉戰英國三級方程式錦標賽，代表T-Sport車隊出賽代表，並贏得了全國冠軍，進入國際賽後，賽季結束時以第四位作收；2008年他參加了GP2亞洲系列賽、並在隔年挑戰GP2歐洲系列賽，經過兩年的奮戰之後，奪得2010年GP2系列賽的年度亞軍。

2. 2011年就踏入F1殿堂！連總統都祝福

2011年，Sergio Pérez 正式踏入F1殿堂，與日籍車手小林可夢偉一起「薩伯Sauber車隊」效力，當年他成為法拉利車手學院成員，這更是繼1981年的Hector Alonso Rebaque後，終於有墨西哥車手在F1一級方程式出賽，當時讓墨西哥車迷舉國歡騰，連總統都獻上了祝福。

Sergio Pérez其後也在Hamilton離開麥拉倫時，轉而效力麥拉倫車隊（2013年）、更待在印度威力車隊（後改名為賽點車隊）長達五個賽季之久。

3. 差點離開F1，強勢入主紅牛！

而Pérez雖在麥拉倫車隊表現平平，但進入這支印度車隊後，在其歷經破產、改名的起伏歷程中，Pérez的存在幾乎奇蹟式的拯救了車隊，但最終，賽點選擇2021年不和Pérez續約，讓在F1打滾近10年之久的Pérez，首次可能將失去這張夢幻進場F1門票。

然而，2020年的薩基爾大獎賽（Sakhir Grand Prix）， Pérez一場奇蹟的逆轉勝，讓他從最後一名衝上冠軍，不僅奪得自己F1職業生涯中首個分站冠軍，也讓「狩獵」新成員多時的紅牛車隊，決定棄用Alex Albon，簽下Pérez。當時的決定，還讓不少人質疑，或許在中游車隊還表現不俗的Pérez，能夠撐的起頂級車隊的位置嗎？而Pérez今年的超凡表現，證明了Red Bull的選擇是壓對了寶。

作為少數的墨西哥裔車手，他並非衝刺型車手，表現十分穩健，更因為良好的「養胎」技能，被稱為F1界的保胎大師，能勝任駕馭各種高耗損效能的輪胎，此「溫柔」的技能，使得他常在正賽拿到比排位賽更好的佳績，更成了紅牛官方認證的「國防部長」；而Pérez除了驚人天賦、穩健車技，加上夾帶著墨西哥電信（Telmex）的巨大贊助資金，在今年2022年奪下摩納哥大獎賽冠軍後，紅牛正式和他多續約2年。
