Harvard Kennedy School unveils five Hauser Leaders, and among them is former Vice President and Angat Pinas chairman, Atty Leni Robredo

September has already ushered in good news for Angat Pinas chairman Atty Leni Robredo, who has been selected as Hauser Leader by Harvard Kennedy School.

Robredo shared the announcement with much excitement through Twitter and Instagram. "A huge honour to be invited to the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership, as one of its Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester. What a blessing to be returning to Cambridge for this opportunity," she writes.

The former Vice President is among five Hauser Leaders invited by Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership.

What is a Hauser Leader?

High-profile leaders and practitioners from public, nonprofit, and private sectors—who are named Hauser Leaders—are invited to join the Hauser Leaders Program which is hosted by Harvard Kennedy School.

The Hauser Leaders will be advising students, speaking with faculty, sharing expertise, and engaging in research and case development during their programmed visits on campus throughout the academic year. Through this, Hauser Leaders carry out the institution's mission—to develop principled and effective public leaders who can make a positive impact in the world.

In the previous year, Robredo was also invited to share her expertise at an online leadership forum organised by the University of Cambridge's professional Master's course MPhil in Public Policy (MPP) Class of 2021 and the Cambridge University Filipino Society (CUFS). The Angat Buhay chairman addressed students, faculty, and alumni in the "Leadership In the Age of Democratic Challenges Forum."
