Instantly recognisable due to its bright red facade, MegaBox in Kowloon Bay is the largest shopping mall in eastern Kowloon at 19 stories and 1.1 million square feet. Its stores encompass everything that might be of interest, including fashion, home decor, sports, electronics, health, books, music, and children's items.
Entertainment options include a cinema complete with an IMAX theatre as well as the largest ice rink in Hong Kong. Younger children will enjoy indoor play area Playhouse. There's also a free shuttle that goes to and from the nearby Kowloon Bay MTR station.
MegaBox Cinema
Part of the UA group of cinemas, which has been around for over 30 years, UA MegaBox is the only cinema in the Greater China region that boasts the IMAX 12-Channel Immersive Sound System in its IMAX theatre.
Its nine theatres seat from 47 to 260 people and are equipped with D-BOX, Dolby Atmos, or Laser Projection technology. Also of note is the UA POP movie merchandise store. Catch a variety of films here, from local favourites to international box office hits.

There's also Madison's, which serves up contemporary European fare in stylish surrounds. Think hand-made pasta, slow-cooked meats, and plenty of salads, burgers, and seafood dishes, besides.
Palace One is the place to go for dim sum and other Cantonese classics done in style, while Achacha Food & Beverage Boutique is the ideal spot for beer lovers, considering it boasts over 200 local and imported craft and fruit varieties.
Order a savoury crepe, Western meat or risotto main to go along with your brew. If you're out with the family or seeking somewhere a little more casual, sushi joint Kokonoi Sushi offers sushi, sashimi and donburi in a setting designed to look like the inside of a Shinkansen train. After ordering via a tablet, your food arrives directly to your table on a mini Shinkansen train figure via a conveyor track, too.
