Season one of this Indian weddings documentary series takes a look behind the scenes at six different couples over three episodes—charting their courses from wedding planning to heartwarming interviews to emotionally-charged moments where tradition and the modern world collide.

The Big Day premiered on Netflix on Valentine's Day. Season one features two couples per episode, and covers a broad spectrum of weddings- and marriage-related issues, including ultra-opulent wedding productions, type-A brides, and same sex marriage.
