Leave it to the kings of K-pop BTS to throw a smashing live performance as the first-ever Korean act at the Grammys 2021

BTS' highly anticipated Grammy performance was nothing short of amazing as well as history-making. The septet performed their chart-topping hit single Dynamite on the Grammy Awards 2021 stage today, making them the very first Korean act to perform at the ceremony.

Although they couldn't grace the awards show in person, the boy band's recorded performance was broadcasted during the show.

Last week, BTS fans found out that the members of BTS had secretly recorded their Grammy performance according to news reports in South Korea.

And as expected of BTS’ impactful live performances, the recording apparently took place on none other than a rooftop of a building in Yeouido, Seoul.

Photos of the stage surfaced on an online community and fans were blown away by the special stage that resembled a huge satellite. Last year, they performed on the Grammy stage with Lil Nas X.

The septet made history for a couple of reasons today: first, for their nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and also as the first-ever Korean artist to perform at the ceremony.

The BTS Army quickly took over Twitter with their reactions and started trending on the social media platform:
