The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, Sarah, married her property developer husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi last year in an intimate ceremony that took place at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

The wedding was attended by only close family and friends considering the Covid-19 restrictions and was not given the usual fanfare that a royal wedding has.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Princess Beatrice's pregnancy announcement is certainly a reason for celebration especially since her younger sister, Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, welcomed their first child in February this year. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is also expecting her second child later this year with Prince Harry.

Princess Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the throne, is expected to be due this autumn.
