We are only a few days close to August! Here are new movies and series that you can catch on Netflix.

You will never run out of good shows to watch on Netflix; for the month of August, the streaming platform offers a variety of entertaining movies including the highly-anticipated third instalment of The Kissing Booth, Jason Momoa's Sweet Girl, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians season five.

But that is not all! Below are some of the shows that will make you grab the TV remote in August.

AUGUST 11: The Kissing Booth 3

Elle and Noah's love story will finally have a conclusion as Netlfix releases the end of The Kissing Booth movie franchise. In its third installation, the plot circles around Elle's meaningful summer before college.

The Kissing Booth 3 gives us a glimpse of how Elle will come up with a very big choice: will she move across the country with the love of her life or fulfil her promise to go to college with her BFFs Joey King, Joel Courtney, and Jacob Elordi? 

AUGUST 20: Sweet Girl

The upcoming action-thriller movie Sweet Girl has so much in store for Jason Momoa's fans. In this movie, the Justice League star turns into a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter.

AUGUST 17: Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 5

Watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians is almost everybody's guilty pleasure. On its fifth season, fans will once again witness the moment when Kim Kardashian bought a new house following her split with Reggie Bush.

AUGUST 23: The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf

If you loved playing The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on PS4, you'll definitely love Netflix's The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf. The animated show highlights the story of Vesemir, a young witcher who finds delight in slaying monsters for a price. When a dangerous new power rises on the Continent, Vesemir learns that some "witchering" jobs are about more than just money.

AUGUST 20: The Chair

We could never get enough of Sandra Oh, good thing the star will be on Netflix's The Chair as Kim Ji-yoon! The movie pictures the trials and tribulations of an English department chair at a major university.

AUGUST 06: Vivo

Netflix also has a film for children and the children at heart! The movie Vivo tells the story of a capuchin monkey who travels from Cuba to Miami to become an international superstar. 

AUGUST 15: Sunday Beauty Queen

Directed by Baby Ruth Villarama, the documentary Sunday Beauty Queen follows a group of domestic workers in Hong Kong as they prepare to take part in an annual beauty contest. 

First shown in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Villarama's work also had its world premiere in the Wide Angle documentary competition at the 21st Busan International Film Festival.
