From Halsey to Steve Aoki, here are some of the biggest stars that BTS has collaborated with

It's official that Ed Sheeran has written a new song for superstar K-pop boy band, BTS.

The singer-songwriter talked about it during a radio interview over the weekend. Sheeran also mentioned he has worked with BTS previously on another song. He said, “I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well.”

Sheeran wrote Make It Right for the group in 2019, and it was featured in their album Map of the Soul: Persona.

Big Hit Entertainment confirmed the new Sheeran song but stopped short at revealing the title of the song or its release date. That said, we do know that BTS will be releasing a CD version of their latest single, Butter, in July.

Regardless, fans are excited about another BTS and Ed Sheeran collaboration.

Meanwhile, why not take a trip down memory lane and take a look at some of the other artistes that BTS has collaborated with over the years.

1. Steve Aoki

BTS has collaborated with Steve Aoki on a number of tracks and each one has been well-received.

One of their biggest hits together was Mic Drop, a song that Aoki remixed to give it an EDM spin. The song, which also features rapper Desiigner, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2018.

This made the band the first Korean group to ever have an album accredited gold by the RIAA.

In 2017, BTS fans were thrilled when Charli XCX revealed that she had flown out to Seoul to work with the boy band on a special project. However, it was only two years later that fans got to see the result of their collaboration which came out in the form of the song, Dream Glow.

The song features the perfect balance of Korean and English, allowing both their musical styles to merge and produce such a dreamy track.

3. Zara Larsson

Zara Larsson's collaboration with BTS, A Brand New Day, includes the sounds of a traditional Korean string instrument and it is absolutely soothing to the ears.

The end result is a Western track with an undertone that honours its Korean roots.

Who could forget one of the band's most popular collaborations? When BTS teamed up with Halsey for Boy With Luv, music fans and Armys all over the world stood up as one to celebrate this summer-loving track.

The catchy track quickly rose up the charts and became such a earworm—but no one was complaining, of course.

5. Honne

Honne's Crying Over You was arguably one of the best breakup songs of 2019. However, did you know BTS leader RM was also on the track? He may feature on only one verse in this song but he certainly managed to insert some stark realism into the song.
