Kim Go-eun's new drama, "Yumi Cells" releases her character poster

Last week, it was announced that Got7's Jinyoung will be joining Kim Go-eun's new drama, Yumi's Cells. This week, the first teaser poster for the drama has been revealed and it's none other than Kim's character poster. Her signature bright smile lights up the poster while her "brain cells" peeks from behind the bulletin board.

Small notes are posted along the board introducing the directors and writers while some describe Yumi as "Daehan Noodle Kim Yumi", referring to the company she works at. Another note says, "What is love?" while the other reads, "Don't forget that you are the main character of this story."

The upcoming drama is based on a hit webtoon about Yumi, an ordinary office worker but the story is told from the perspective of her brain cells that controls her thoughts, emotions and actions. Yumi gets tired of her mundane life and longs for some romance. When she finds someone, her cells started going into a frenzy. Yumi's Cells will be the first K-drama to feature both live-action and 3D animation, offering a fresh new format of content. It's also set to star Ahn Bo-hyun as Goo Woong, Lee Yoo-bi as Ruby, Park Ji-hyun as Sae-yi and Jinyoung as Yoo Babi. Shinee's Minho—whom Kim has worked with before—will make a cameo as Woo Gi.

It will be directed by Lee Sang Yeob who helmed popular dramas such as Familiar Wife and Shopping King Louie and penned by Kim Yoo-joo who co-wrote Find Me In Your Memory together with newcomer Kim Kyung-ran. Writer Song Jae-jung who worked on W and Memories of Alhambra served as a creator as well.

Song Hye-kyo poses photo with Jang Ki-yong ahead of upcoming drama

Song Hye-kyo has teased fans with a photo of her and Now We Are Breaking Up co-star, Jang Ki-yong on her Instagram. While much is to be desired from the photo as the two are not facing the camera, it's enough to get fans excited for the drama and see their chemistry.

In the black and white photo, the two are sitting side-by-side inside a photography studio which we can assume is the studio of Jang's character in the drama, who is a photographer. The caption reads, "Yoon Jae-guk and Ha Young-eun" their characters' names alongside the drama's title as a hashtag.

The drama is set to air this year which also serves as Jang's last drama before he goes for his military service.
