In October 2021, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker teamed up with the Kardashians before he knelt down and popped the question amidst a pile of red roses and scented candles perfectly placed on the seaside. 

"Travis told her family that he planned to propose, but everyone was great at keeping it secret. The Rosewood is their favourite for short weekend getaways. They often stay at the hotel. This is why Travis proposed there. It's a very special place to them, but it was also easier to keep everything a secret by proposing there," said Lorraine Schwartz, Kourtney's engagement ring designer and confidante of Travis.

Sure you can get store-bought flowers, a designer ring, and even set up a flashmob for the love of your life, but you know what really takes time and effort? Learning an entirely different language to make an extra special marriage proposal.

"I had a big speech in Spanish, and that’s what I was nervous about,” Manganiello said in a televised interview. "The last thing you want to do is, like, mess up the Spanish on the proposal to the Colombian woman." The actor also shared that part of the big speech included him saying "eres mi todo", which translates to "you are my everything".

Okay, that Kat Stratford situation from 10 Things I Hate About You, nothing else can top that right? Wrong! There's a real-life proposal grander than that scene and it involves ex-couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. 

On June 15, 2013, Kardashian and West welcomed their first-born North West. The same year in October, West knelt and proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday by renting AT&T Park and a large orchestra who played Lana Del Rey's Young and Beautiful.

Their closest family and friends were there to witness the event.

In 2005, just four years after Carey Heart and P!nk began seeing each other, the latter pulled the ultimate badass move. While Carey was on the race track at the Pro 250 class finals in Mammoth, CA, the singer stepped out in front, holding up a pit board that read "Will You Marry Me?". 

Heart immediately hopped off his bike and said "yes". (Who says no to P!nk anyway?)

If there's anyone who deserves a million-dollar proposal, it's definitely Jennifer Lopez. While vacationing in the scenic Bahamas beach, Alex Rodriguez took their relationship to the next level when he knelt down and offered his fiancé a jaw-dropping, emerald-cut diamond ring. It was later revealed that the former baseball player repeatedly rehearsed the proposal with his assistant three days prior.

Even though the gods are crazy, even though the stars are blind, if a guy like Carter Reum shows Paris Hilton real love, she'll say yes. 

Carter proposed to Paris with a custom Jean Dousset diamond ring in February 2021. "When you find your soulmate, you don't just know it. You feel it," she wrote on Instagram. "My love and I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to a tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped [with] one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There's no one I'd rather spend forever with," Paris added.
