In the early days of COVID-19 quarantine, many people have seen the growth of podcasts or a series of digital spoken-word files that can be accessed through the internet for easy listening. One Forbes article has attributed this emergence in the variety and number of choices that subscribers have in the digital age.
As of this writing, there are now more than 800,000 active podcasts with over 54 million audio episodes uploaded worldwide. This is a big increase compared to the 19 million records back in 2013. "Because of a low cost of entry, in the first ten months of 2019, a record 192,000 new podcasts have been launched," the article read.
We list a few of the most insightful Filipino podcasts you can listen to on your way to work, school, before sleeping, and even during workouts.
