In this animated film, the world's only hope against a robot apocalypse is the dysfunctional but endearingly eccentric Mitchells family, whose unexpected roles as heroes are thrusted upon them in the middle of their road trip. Featuring the remarkable voice talents of Danny McBride and Maya Rudolph.

2. Fatherhood

Coming to Netflix on Father's Day weekend (specifically June 18), this comedy tells the story of a newly widowed father (Kevin Hart) as he balances his own grief and caring for his young daughter. 

3. Kim's Convenience

Spun off from an acclaimed Canadian play of the same name, this feel-good sitcom follows the lives of the Kims, a Korean immigrant family living in Toronto, Canada. Laughs are sure to follow the patriarch Appa (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), whose quirky and lovable antics will be familiar to all children raised by Asian parents. The actor playing the son is Simu Liu, who landed the role of Shang-Chi in the upcoming Marvel movie. The sitcom's fifth and final season just premiered on Netflix.

4. My Father Is Strange

What do you do when your father's long lost celebrity son suddenly appears and joins your family? This K-drama starring Kim Young-Chul, Kim Hae-Sook and Ryu Soo-Young explores this very situation, often with hilarious results.

5. Father Of The Year

When a drunken discussion among college students result in a ridiculous brawl, there are only two people to blame: a pair of chaotic dads (played by David Space and Nat Faxon). This comedy tells a coming of age story that is just as much about discovering who our parents really are.

6. Like Father

In this original Netflix movie, a workaholic (Kristen Bell), who has just been left at the altar, finds herself on a Caribbean cruise with her estranged father (Kelsey Grammer). Stuck on a ship together, father-and-daughter may finally get a chance to repair their relationship.

7. Why Him?

A father-and-daughter's loving bond is put to the test when the she introduces her boyfriend (James Franco) who the latter absolutely despises. Naturally, hilarity ensues as the trio try to work out this new dynamic. This film stars Bryan Cranston, Zoey Deutch and Megan Mullally.

8. The Pursuit Of Happyness

This heart-wrenching drama tells the story of a father as he attempts to make a living in the expensive city of San Francisco. A true tale of sacrifices, it portrays a father's true love in the face of loss and poverty. This film stars Will Smith and his real son, Jaden Smith.

9. The Foreigner

After his beloved daughter is murdered by terrorists, the enraged father (Jackie Chan) travels across the world to exact vengeance on the people responsible for her death.

10. San Andreas

After a devastating earthquake in California, pilot Ray Gaines (Dwayne Johnson) races against time to rescue his daughter trapped in San Francisco before a tsunami hits the already ravaged city.
