Want to be wowed this festive season? K11 Musea is pulling out all the stops this Christmas—with acrobats, dancers, singers, musicians, artists and designers combining to create a spectacular feast for all the senses. Hong Kong’s very own “Silicon Valley of Culture” has curated an exciting, immersive and family-friendly holiday programme bursting with creativity, culture and innovation—where all visitors can come to discover their muse.

Find Your Muse

The centrepiece of K11 Musea’s Yuletide celebrations is its highly imaginative CULTURAL MUSE ENCOUNTER—the result of a collaboration with over 100 creatives and artisans hailing from both Hong Kong and around the globe.

Thrillingly staged across multiple floors of K11 Musea’s Opera Theatre, this dynamic and engaging cross-genre showcase features talented performers coming together to embody the journey of the four muses: Art, Design, Nature and Fashion.

With Christmas around the corner, the muses must join forces to inspire creative magic and spread joy this holiday season—a captivating story told through dance and music, crafted by international choreographer Giulio Scatola alongside local artistic directors Jennifer Chiang and Lemon Ting-Fung Doo.

Featuring an acrobat duo, ten ballerinas, two opera singers, a beatboxer, contemporary dancers and a marching band all clad in eye-catching couture outfits created by renowned costume designer Miodrag Guberinic and Hong Kong designer Chocolate Tsang, the CULTURAL MUSE ENCOUNTER promises to be a truly dazzling Christmas extravaganza. Each show lasts 30 minutes, and can be seen daily from 21-26 December 2019 at 3 pm.

Something For Everyone

If you don’t make it in time for the CULTURAL MUSE ENCOUNTER, don’t worry—K11 Musea has got plenty of other festive delights to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Grammy Award-winning Warsaw Boys’ Choir will be spreading festive cheer with some very special Christmas choral sonata performances on 22-24 December. They’ll be singing a repertoire curated especially for K11 Musea, including new arrangements of traditional Christmas carols, alongside pieces performed for the very first time in Hong Kong.

Artistic thrills also await, as acclaimed New York artist Stefan Beckman has transformed K11 Musea’s Bohemian Garden into a glamorous winter wonderland, with glistening gold and amber trees that are certain to inspire flights of festive fancy—and act as the perfect backdrop for fabulous holiday photos. Meanwhile, 13-year old artist prodigy Elisabeth Anisimow has hand-painted an array of whimsical Yuletide characters—designed exclusively for Hong Kong—to create works of “living art” in K11 Musea’s colourful Christmas Muse Garden.

Don’t forget to enter K11 Musea’s fantastic Christmas lucky draw too; prizes up for grabs include $600,000 worth of K11 shopping vouchers, a penthouse experience at Rosewood Hong Kong, and round-trip business-class flights for two.
