Presented by the International Guosho Association in collaboration with the Jao Tsung-I Academy, the exhibit is a discovery dating back to the origins and evolution of Classical Chinese Swords. Tracking the rise and fall of weaponry culture, intertwined with the changing course of the state, with more than forty traditional Chinese swords, writings, and archive photographs on display.

With the exhibit focusing on two themes, the first being sword-making procedures with videos, raw materials, and collections of material concerning the processing and fitting of the ancient craft. Secondly, the focus shifts to the development of sword culture with a selection of famous swords on display demonstrating the transformation of sword-making techniques and its culture.

One of the officiating guests at the opening was Hong Kong Tatler 500 lister and columnist Hing Chao, Executive Director of International Guoshu Association, who has previously written extensively on China’s rich sword-making heritage
