Fans are thrilled that they will see more of star Lily Collins as an American in Paris

The popular Netflix series Emily In Paris has been renewed for a second season. The news was announced in a novel way, via a wittily written note by Emily's snooty French boss Sylvie; it was posted on Netflix Malaysia's Instagram early this morning.

Created by Darren Star (Sex and the City, Younger), the series was shot entirely in Paris and features some fabulous clothes complementing the city's reputation as a fashion capital of the world. It was an instant smash, entering the Nielsen's Top 10 most-watched streaming shows during its premiere week.

With the renewal, millions of fans will get to find out how Emily's romance with her gorgeous neighbour Gabriel will develop, if Gabriel can make it work as the new owner of a restaurant and, of course, if Emily will finally learn some French words.
