The HABI Kalayaan Online Fair has been championing Filipino culture and heritage for years now. This 2021, they've migrated to an online space for shoppers to be able to support local businesses safely from home. But not only that, the HABI Kalayaan Online Fair is also presenting an exciting lineup of live talks to supplement their advocacy of loving local.
Set to stream live over on their Facebook and Youtube pages are talks by some of the most exciting Filipino personalities out there. These include musician Lourd de Veyra, cartoonist Mannix Abrera, and journalist Howie Severino. All talks are set to take place between 12 June - 20 June 2021.

To kickstart the lineup of events, Lourd de Veyra discusses the importance of buying local with his talk All Buy Ourselves: Purchasing Local as an Act of Patriotism set to air on the 12th of June at 3:00pm. This will be followed by a fashionable discussion helmed by style icon Ditto Sandico and style director Raymond Villanueva. Both will give us an insider peek at the state of the local fashion industry, and will give us a few insights on the Philippines' rich weaving tradition. Join their talk, entitled Sale a Vie on 13 June at 5:00pm.
