The Joyce Cares space at PMQ will be transformed into a Juun.J pop-up store

Joyce Cares, a platform that works with emerging young talents on sustainable projects, is collaborating with up-and-coming Korean designer Juun.J to support the “1,600 Pandas” environmental awareness project.
Conceived by French artist Paulo Grangeon, the 1,600 Pandas Project strives to raise awareness of the rapid loss of the potentially extinct giant panda species. A total of 1,600 custom-made papier-mâché panda bears have been making their way around public spaces around the world to get people thinking about the consequences their own actions may have on the environment. The bears have migrated to Hong Kong, making flash-mob-like appearances at landmarks such as Victoria Park and the Hong Kong Clock Tower, and will end their city-wide tour with a final grand spectacle at PMQ on June 24.
PMQ, the city’s newest cultural hub, dedicates itself to promoting Asia’s creative industries and nurturing budding creative talents, which aligns with Joyce’s core concept. Additionally, Juun.J is a great believer in social responsibility and philanthropy. Thus, the Joyce Cares space at PMQ will be transformed into a Juun.J pop-up store featuring an exclusive collection that will benefit the World Wildlife Fund. Juun.J has designed a collection of cushions, clutches, tote bags, blindfolds, and notebooks, all of which feature his custom panda print.
