A luncheon hosted by Nena Vargas-Tantoco and Chef Tonyboy Escalante was held at Antonio’s Tagaytay for a preview of the 33rd Negros Trade Fair. The country’s longest running provincial trade fair presents some of the best products Negros has to offer, care of the Association of Negros Producers. The trade fair celebrates its 33rd year with the theme “Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice,” which pays homage to the province’s sugar industry. This industry has created a refined Negrense lifestyle that is evident in its rich local culture.
A wide range of booths that offer natural and organic food, garments, fashion accessories, furniture, décor, houseware, agriculture, and tourism represent the alternative industries which provide for and sustain the people of Negros. The 33rd Negros Trade Fair runs from 26-30 September 2018, at the Glorietta Activity Centre in Makati City.
