In back-to-back events, the arts community celebrates the life and art of Juvenal Sansó

Fundacion Sansó collaborates with up-and-coming couture label Septième Rebelle to showcase the textile designs of Spanish-born artistic master Juvenal Sansó. Helmed by Robbie Santos, the label launches a collection of bright, bold, and beautiful garments that take cues from Sansó's command on colour and patterns.

Meanwhile, Sansó's artistry also gets celebrated further south of the metro. Galerie Francesca at the Festival Mall in Alabang presents "Sanso: Unexpected", which features a rare collection of 33 works by the master artist.

The works represent six of the seven decades of Sansó's illustrious career. Through those years, he has explored not only a variety of themes but a variety of art forms as well.

This makes the exhibition quite interesting as most of them are not only rarely seen in public but also capture the master's ingenuity that allow today's generation to appreciate and understand the breadth of Sansó's body of work.

Unexpected runs from November to December 19, 2021. Presented by Galerie Francesca, the exhibit is located at the 2nd Level Expansion Wing, Civic Drive, Festival SuperMall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
