Peruvian performance-artist Antonio Paucar returns to the Metropolitan Museum on February 6 for his second public dialogue and performance this year in the Philippines.

In partnership with the Latin American Roaming Arts (LARA) project and AsiaCiti Trust, the Metropolitan Museum once again invites Peruvian performance-artist Antonio Paucar to a second leg of his Artist Talk on February 6.

The Met Museum has been exhibiting the Berlin-based Peruvian artist’s works at the White Cube Gallery since January 27 and will continue to be on view until March 14. Paucar studied philosophy at the Humboldt-University in Berlin in 19987, fine arts at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, and visual arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin. His most recent works are exhibited in galleries and museums in Germany, Peru, and Mecxico.

Paucar has been in the country since January 25 to immerse in the local communities and meet Filipino artists for a multi-cultural exchange of perspectives on various art forms and issues of contemporary art around the world. On February 6, 3 PM, Paucar will be entertaining guests for a public dialogue and will also be performing based on his recent immersion in the Philippine culture and art scene.
