From now till May 2, 2018, fans of Ferragamo will get to discover the creative forces and objets d’art that influenced his creations.

Salvatore Ferragamo is deep-rooted with a rich history that owes itself, among other things, to a time spent in the United States spanning 12 years. His return to Florence, Italy, in 1927 was coincidental to a time when discussion revolved around the romance of returns.

Italy was then regarded a hotbed of creative ideas and artistic experimentation, and to celebrate this symbolic anniversary, the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence has organised the aptly named ‘1927 The Return To Italy’ exhibition from now until May 2, 2018.

The showcase will display handicrafts and masterpieces that established the industry and explore the tastes and views of the time, held dear to Ferragamo himself.
